After watching the video above, answer the following questions

1. How would you  define the term universal design for learning?

2. Lets break it down into its three main components (universal, design and learning). Explain the meaning of each one separately.

3. Based on your own experience in class, is MDCPS' Competency Based Curriculum as flexible as the kind of curriculum suggested by UDL?

4. Looking to support and challenge our students; how do we use the UDL framework to create learning goals, methods, materials and assessments that work for all students?

5. Based on what we have experienced in class with installation art, performance, reenactment, collage and music making, how do the arts fit in the UDL approach?

6. How would you relate the student center model of teaching, the person centered relationship proposed by C. Rogers,  and the UDL framework? Illustrate your answer by giving an example of how these three concepts could be combined in your own ideal classroom.
